About Us

Our motivation is that software development is too complicated. As engineers, we don't like using frameworks, but at the same time don't like repeating ourselves. With Itergia Core, we seek to advance how we think about networks, rather than just providing a data storage solution.

If data storage is our core, our mantle is solving everyday problems. We believe that a solid data synchronization core, combined with riding on the shoulder of giants in other solution spaces, give us the upper hand in solving any data management problem. And there are far more data management problems than we could ever hope to tackle.

Data should be easy to access, wherever it is needed. Or simply put:

Data where it matters

Our Team

Portrait of TommieTommie Gannert is co-founder and CTO of Itergia. Residing in Lachen, SZ, Switzerland, he is originally from Sweden.

His strengths include being analytical, a listener and believing all technical problems have solutions. He graduated with a MSc in Computer Science from KTH in Stockholm in 2007. He joined Spotify that same year and took a large part in building the backend infrastructure, going from 10 to over 1,000 employees.

In 2013, Tommie left Stockholm and Spotify and joined Google in Dublin as a Site Reliability Engineer. Here, he built automation and monitoring tools for one of the largest machine learning systems in Google. After five years in Dublin and SRE, he moved to Zurich as a Senior Software Engineer. Here, he built new APIs for Google Search. In 2021, the time had come to become independent and build what became Itergia Core.
